We take bus from Aso to Kumamot by bus today. Because of the Kumamoto earthquake, the rail from Aso to Kumomoto is broken, the only public traffic tool is bus. The bus is few, recommend you book seat on line first.

Kumamoto is famous for the Kumamoto castle(熊本城). The castle is one of three great castle in Edo period(江戶時代). In Satsuma Rebellion(西南戰爭), the castle protect the government army firmly to resistance the Saigō Takamori(西鄉隆盛). The victory of the war established modern Japan government. Because I watch sakura this time, I don't spend much time to look for the historical remains. There are many famous sakura spot in Kumamoto. I don't have much, so I only go to Kumamoto castle and Suizenji Jojuen(水前寺成趣園).
